Pioneering building project in Frankfurt am Main is using wastewater as a resource

A ground breaking event took place in Frankfurt, 16th of July.

Foto of the groundbraking ceremony The netWORKS 3 research project accompanies and investigates scientifically the implementation of intelligent integrated water management solutions. In this context, in a district of the German city Frankfurt am Main, a new kind of passive house with 66 apartments and a day-care center is currently being built. The building will incorporate forward-looking technologies of greywater recycling and heat recovery from domestic wastewater. The ground breaking event took place in Frankfurt, 16th of July.
